
Vancouver based Events database, which creates mobile apps for major events and conferences, has raised $ 8.56 million in funding from Madrona Venture Group and the BC Tech Fund.
Eventbase also received additional funding from Silicon Valley Bank and Espresso Capital. The company has raised a total of $ 19.09 million to date.
Eventbase develops mobile apps for events and conferences and has worked with clients like Microsoft, IBM, and Salesforce. Formerly known as Xomo, the company won gold for “Best Event Application” at the Event Technology Awards.

Eventbase said it plans to use the funding to accelerate the group of its corporate event apps and data. In addition to announcing its funding, Eventbase also launched Data Stream, which brings together detailed data on various conferences, events and meetings hosted in the Enterprise Event app. Users can generate insights into ROI, participant needs, issues, and application experiences by leveraging business intelligence tools and product marketing systems.
