Founded in 2018 through Yadhu and Shiv Sundar, cloud startup Esper claims to have a large following in the United States and India. The platform enables device manufacturers and chipset suppliers to provide a lean Android solution specially designed for the space dedicated to smart devices.
It allows its customers to control every aspect of their device fleet and enables real-time debugging of applications on a remote device when needed.
Shiv said, âIndia was one of the early adopters of Android devices for business use cases. We have leading customers in India in Point of Sale, Logistics and Retail who use Esper to deploy their fleet of devices. We look forward to using our Series A fundraiser to increase our market share in India and expand our engineering team in Bangalore. “
In India, its clientele includes companies in the retail, logistics, hospitality and healthcare sectors.
The startup also has ongoing partnerships with MediaTek, Lenovo, and Zebra for the development of hardware and peripherals. On top of that, Esper is also Android Enterprise Recommended as GoogleEMM partner.
