
Spring Venture Group announces plans to hire approximately 400 agents for United Medicare Advisors, its Medicare plan delivery unit and SmartMatch insurance solutions
The Kansas City, Missouri-based company says it could hire 300 full-time and 100 seasonal agents, but is willing to adjust those numbers to attract good people.

The majority of positions will eventually be in brick and mortar offices. The company has physical offices in Kansas City; Scottsdale, Arizona; and Atchison, Kansas.
The company is also hiring telecommuting agents in Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas.

Kim McDonald, executive vice president of the company’s group, said in a comment included in the hiring announcement that the company wants to protect applicants and employees from COVID-19. âAll new hires will be interviewed, integrated and trained remotely,â said McDonald. âPlease be assured that we will only move our staff to an office when the physical locations are safely accessible. “
Spring Venture Group hopes to fill the positions by the end of August.
The company
Five Elms Capital, a Kansas City-based investment firm, funded the start-up of the business in 2009.
Corsair Capital, a private equity firm, made a major investment in the company in 2018.
Spring Venture Group now has around 900 employees, up from 27 in 2012.
The United Medicare Advisors unit and the SmartMatch unit sell supplemental Medicare (Medigap) insurance and other health-related insurance products and services.
The company maintains relationships with companies such as Aetna, Nationwide, GoodRx, and American Hearing Benefits.
