Ready for a change of scenery? The dozen applications that have earned a place in the top 10 of the latest PYMNTS Ranking of travel app providers can help.
In the leaderboard itself, however, there are plenty of familiar sights – all of those contenders were also here last month, although there were a few seat changes.
Among the attractions not to be missed this month: two contenders share the top spot in the leaderboard, each getting a perfect score, and an influential player who has added five points to his score since the last time.
The first five
First on the route, both apps are tied with a score of 100. Booking.com was here last month too, when Hopper has since gone up a level.
Two points behind and ranked second is Airbnbwho also occupied this place last month.
Three points behind this app is Vrbowho gets a score of 95 and is again ranked third.
Maintaining its place in the ranking is also Skyscanner. This app remains at #4 with a score of 91.
Going up one level in the ranking is Hotels.com. With a score of 85, five points lower than last time, this application is now ranked fifth.
Also floats one position away from where it was last seen. Kayak. This app now sits in sixth place with a score of 80, four points lower than last month.
Continuing the chain reaction to the above move, TripAdvisor too much goes down from one place. He is now ranked seventh with a score of 76.
Two apps tie for eighth place with a tie score of 75. FlightAware and Kiwi.com have both moved back one level from where they last shared.
Priority Pass also went down a level, now sitting at No. 9 with a score of 72.
To hold the last place in the top 10, as was the case last month, is All trails. With a score of 71, he added five points to his tally since last time, making him the best mover and shaker this month.
